Internal reflection is a tricky situation.
How can you effectively evaluate what lives within you that you don't like without admitting to yourself that that same thing is not liked or appreciated by others?
But on the other hand, how can you not?
You see, over my short life I have learned a lot about myself, somethings I like & some I would rather not experience, let alone make others experience.
I do however know that we all need to look within and clean house & not be ashamed even for a minute by the laundry or cobwebs you find.
Dirty laundry simply means you had clothes or linen worth using &
Cobwebs simply show you have a home - now keep it well.
Self exploration is a painful journey but one that must be take if you actually wish to experience life for what it is.
As a great man one said - Search me and know my heart, try me and know my thoughts & lead me in your way everlasting,:King David.
If a king is humble enough to know that he needs help, I think we ought to set aside what we know and be open to the idea of more.
Cleaning house is a never ending process & that's okay. What I would ask you to remember in this journey is this:
Choose to be kind to yourself with every new day and setting of the sun,
Choose to be happy and understand that life doesn't happen to you, it happens through you,
Choose to accept your mistakes and embrace change,
Choose to forgive, forgive yourself & accept forgiveness from others,
Choose to smile in the rain because that's when seeds grow,
Choose to see life for what it is & build it to what it can be,
Choose to BE in ever moment of your day,
Choose to smile and not always worry,
Choose to learn from your mistakes instead of ignoring or simply accepting them,
Choose to move forward accepting that in some cases you can do nothing about the past.
All in all, Trust the process of growth, trust that there is strength n tears & trust that the result you want is drawing nearer and nearer with every step.
Meanwhile... Enjoy each step.
Love yourself.
