I am seated at a coffee shop (how original- 😏 ) Finally starting this blog thing that I have been thinking about for years but never got to it.
You see I have been quite busy the last few years, I'm sure that sounds flimsy to some but I think you have been busy too... Doing what?
➥ Busy doubting your capabilities and thinking you can't; not realizing that so many wake up feeling like this but somehow we all manage to "Do" life
➥Busy not taking care of your health and eating chips (french fries) like the potato farms were about to close down and the world was ending on Monday.
How about going for every happy hour and not feeling quiet as happy as the name advertises?

➥ Busy waiting for someone to love you the way You deserve and would like while SIMULTANEOUSLY managing not to love yourself in the exact same manner
➥Busy focused on the timeline set out by society for us all while not asking yourself - "What the Actual F**K Do I want darling?"
Coz if we are actually being logical, there is no way we can all want marriage, babies,work, money, travel IN THE SAME WAY or AT THE EXACT SAME TIMELINE.
We are somehow living a blue print in life that was made for life before you were alive....

➥ Busy waiting to be chosen - by a job, by a reasonable bank balance, by a set of friends, by a life partner, by random people on social media instead of waking up every morning and choosing yourself over and over and over again: Because truth be told, nothing outside of you will ever give you that "it" that you are looking for. Shinning comes from within, you can never borrow that light.
Now, if you have your life figured out, I applaud you. You can close the tab now and go home and rest easy 👊👌 Kudos for managing to do what most die not realizing was missed.
For the rest of us still figuring things out my heart wants to tell you this today..... YOU are magic, YOU are beauty, YOU are amazing, YOU are worth it all.
I am sure you have heard that all before but still we have days that we want to give up..... I WANT TO GIVE UP TOO, LETS DO IT!!!!!! You know what we should give up together?...
Lets give up worry and trade it in for peace,
Lets give up pointless tears and give out more smiles,
Lets give up laziness and and train our bodies and minds on something new,
Lets give up unnecessary hospital visits and eat better,
Lets give up heart aches by being honest with ourselves,
Lets give up complaining & know that the rain won't last,
Lets give up blaming & instead take charge,
Lets give up hate and act with/in love,
Lets give up perfection and celebrate truth.
Lets give up anything that takes away your capacity to actually LIVE.
One thing you should never give up on, is you.
